Testimonies
Jim McCall (MAC): Founder
Served 10 years in the armed forces. He was in to new age, animal medicine, astrology, spiritualism and crystals. He also ran a side patch club and did what most bikers do, smoked dope, drank like a fish and rode around scaring old ladies and small children. He had his bike stolen in May 1995 and found himself at a loss. A week later he overheard a guy insulting a group of Christians which sparked off a long discussion about Jesus, God and the Bible. It ended up with Jim giving his heart to the Lord.
TEZ: Club Chaplain
Tez grew up in rural Cornwall. Although he went to the local Methodist Sunday School as a boy, he spent his teen years on rebelling and getting into trouble. He hoped that serving in the Army would straighten his life out but even there life seemed to be full of problems and un-forefilling. After dabbling in the Hari Krishna Sect Tez felt called to look into the bible of his Sunday School days and there began a relationship with Jesus that managed to do what nothing else could, it made life seem worthwhile. Since coming to know Jesus Tez became an active member of the Methodist Church, a local preacher and is now completing a four year training course for full time ministry. Tez has been into bikes since he was tall enough to sit on one.
Larry
When Larry was just nine years old, he was taking drugs like sweets after they were used by his older sister. He developed a thick skin as he learnt to fend for himself while living on a notorious North London housing estate. With three brothers and two sisters, and a father who frequently drank away the family budget, he knuckled down to a life of scant provision and hand-me-downs.
Mick
Mick was brought up in a strict religious family and began using drugs at the age of 15. He turned his back on religion, and soon became involved in a wild lifestyle, addiction, and the occult. One day, 25 years on the Lord stopped him at 3am on his way home from a rave. He pulled the car he was driving over to the side of the road and began to panic. Mick's friends who were also in the car thought it was funny that Mick didn't know where he was. After about 5 minutes his memory returned and they were able to go on their way. A few weeks later the same thing happened, at the same place outside a small church in the town where he lived.
