The Road to Salvation
1. God loves us! God wants us to have His peace and eternal life.
Romans 5:8: "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
2. We have a natural propensity to love sin. Sin separates us from God.
3. God's Peace and Eternal Life are out of our grasp because of our sins.
Romans 5:12: "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned." Romans 3:23: "For all have sinned, and have fallen short of the glory of God."
4. God has provided the gift of Eternal Life.
This Life can only be found in Jesus Christ.
Romans 6:23: "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
5. This Life is available through Jesus Christ.
Romans 5:1: "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ."
Romans 1:16: "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, then to the Gentile."
Romans 5:21: "That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord."
Romans 10:9: "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
Romans 10:13: "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Romans 10:10: "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
Acts 17:24-30: "God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device. And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead."
Remember!
2 Peter 3:9: "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
This longsuffering (patiently waiting) comes to an abrupt end every day for those that die. In death the invitation to come to Christ is withdrawn.
Judgement, wrath and a fiery indignation await the impenitent sinner. Every one of us will one day bend the knee, bow the neck and declare Jesus Christ as Lord. God invites you to do it voluntarily now in this life, rather than under compulsion in the next.
It is our overwhelming desire that all who do not know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour do so. We have no desire to Bible-bash, Brain-wash, or build an army.
What we truly desire to see is God's pinnacle of creation restored to his rightful position, In fellowship and walking with his creator.
We would be pleased to point you to a bible teaching church in your area. Please leave your contact details in a private entry in our guestbook.
